KarosGuard — приложение для самоконтроля и родительского контроля: оно блокирует порнографические сайты и позволяет ограничивать время в выбранных приложениях и на сайтах.

Какие данные мы собираем

Только технические отчёты о сбоях. Если приложение аварийно завершается, оно отправляет разработчику отчёт через сервис Google Firebase Crashlytics: стек вызова, модель устройства, версия Android и версия приложения. Это нужно, чтобы находить и исправлять ошибки.

В отчёты не попадают содержимое экрана, адреса посещённых сайтов, история, переписка и любые персональные данные. Отчёт отправляется только в момент сбоя.

Отправку отчётов можно отключить в любой момент: Настройки → Отчёты о сбоях. После отключения ничего не отправляется.

Других данных приложение не собирает: у него нет учётных записей, аналитики поведения, рекламы и трекеров.

Служба специальных возможностей (Accessibility)

Для работы блокировки KarosGuard использует службу специальных возможностей Android: она читает текст и адрес страницы, открытой на экране, чтобы определить, является ли страница порнографической, и закрыть её. Это основная функция приложения.

Весь анализ происходит только на вашем устройстве. Содержимое экрана никуда не отправляется, не сохраняется и не передаётся — ни нам, ни кому-либо ещё. Домены заблокированных сайтов сохраняются только локально на устройстве, чтобы блокировать их быстрее в следующий раз.

Список блокируемых сайтов

Приложение скачивает публичные списки порнографических доменов из открытых источников (GitHub, oisd.nl). Это входящая загрузка: при этом никакие ваши данные не отправляются.

Администратор устройства

Приложение запрашивает права администратора устройства с единственной целью — защитить себя от случайного или импульсивного удаления (функция самоконтроля). Эти права не используются для доступа к данным.

Данные об использовании приложений

Для функции лимитов времени приложение локально считает, сколько минут вы провели в выбранных вами приложениях и на сайтах. Эти счётчики хранятся только на устройстве и сбрасываются каждый день.

Уведомления близким (по вашему выбору)

Функция выключена, пока вы сами её не настроите. Если вы пригласили близкого человека кодом в разделе «Кому сообщать», приложение сообщает нашему серверу о включении и отключении защиты, а сервер кладёт предупреждение в «почтовый ящик» этого человека. Его приложение KarosGuard забирает сообщения примерно раз в 15 минут и показывает уведомление.

Что мы храним на сервере, пока функция включена:

• случайный идентификатор устройства, который создаётся самим приложением и не связан с вашим аккаунтом, номером телефона или личностью;
• для каждого приглашённого — случайный номер, секрет его приложения и имя, которое он сам ввёл при подключении;
• непрочитанные предупреждения (тип события и время) — не дольше 30 дней;
• время последней связи с приложением.

Что не передаётся и не хранится: содержимое экрана, адреса и названия посещённых сайтов, история, переписка, ваше имя и любые персональные данные.

Передача третьим лицам. Не производится. Предупреждения доставляются нашим собственным сервером прямо в приложение KarosGuard близкого человека, без мессенджеров и других посредников. Данные передаются по защищённому соединению.

Функция отключается в любой момент: удалите всех людей в разделе «Кому сообщать». Близкий может отключиться сам в разделе «Я близкий человек». Чтобы удалить уже сохранённые данные, напишите нам — адрес в конце документа.

Обратная связь

«Сообщить о проблеме», «Вопросы и предложения» и кнопка жалобы на экране блокировки отправляют текст на наш сервер. Там он хранится до полугода, чтобы разработчик мог прочитать его и ответить. Вместе с текстом уходят язык приложения, его версия и страна (её определяет сервер по соединению). Ни имени, ни аккаунта, ни идентификатора устройства в сообщении нет. Ответ приходит обратно в приложение: оно помнит случайные номера только своих сообщений.

KarosGuard Pro и версия для Windows

Эти версии распространяются не через Google Play и работают по подписке. Чтобы пробный период нельзя было получать заново переустановкой, приложение отправляет на наш сервер обезличенный номер устройства — необратимый хэш системного идентификатора, а не сам идентификатор. Сервер хранит только этот хэш и дату, когда увидел его впервые; ни с ключом подписки, ни с чем-либо ещё он не связывается. Если у вас есть ключ подписки, приложение время от времени проверяет его срок на том же сервере. В версии из Google Play этого нет.

Дети

Приложение предназначено для взрослых (18+), которые настраивают контроль для себя, и для родителей, настраивающих контроль на устройствах своей семьи.

KarosGuard — Privacy Policy

KarosGuard is a self-control and parental-control app: it blocks pornographic websites and lets you set daily time limits for chosen apps and sites.

Data we collect

Only technical crash reports. If the app crashes, it sends the developer a report via Google Firebase Crashlytics: the stack trace, device model, Android version and app version. This is used solely to find and fix bugs.

Crash reports never include screen content, visited URLs, browsing history, messages or any personal data. A report is sent only at the moment of a crash.

You can turn reports off at any time: Settings → Crash reports. Once disabled, nothing is sent.

No other data is collected: the app has no accounts, no behavioural analytics, no ads and no trackers.

Accessibility Service

KarosGuard uses the Android Accessibility Service as its core functionality: it reads the text and address of the page currently on screen to determine whether it is pornographic and to close it. All analysis happens on your device only. Screen content is never sent anywhere, never stored remotely, and never shared. Domains of blocked sites are saved locally on the device only, so they can be blocked faster next time.

Blocklists

The app downloads public lists of pornographic domains from open sources (GitHub, oisd.nl). This is an inbound download; none of your data is sent.

Device Administrator

The app requests device administrator rights for a single purpose: protecting itself from accidental or impulsive uninstallation (a self-control feature). These rights are not used to access any data.

App usage data

For the time-limit feature the app counts, locally, how many minutes you spend in the apps and sites you selected. These counters are stored on the device only and reset daily.

Notifications to people you choose (opt-in)

This feature is off until you set it up yourself. If you invite someone with a code in the "Who to notify" section, the app tells our server when protection is turned off or back on, and the server puts a warning into that person's inbox. Their KarosGuard app picks up messages about every 15 minutes and shows a notification.

What we store on the server while the feature is enabled:

• a random device identifier generated by the app itself, not linked to your account, phone number or identity;
• for each invited person — a random number, their app's secret and the name they typed themselves when connecting;
• unread warnings (event type and time) — for no longer than 30 days;
• the time of the last contact with the app.

What is not transmitted or stored: screen content, addresses or names of visited sites, browsing history, messages, your name, or any personal data.

Sharing with third parties. None. Warnings are delivered by our own server directly into the KarosGuard app of the person you chose, with no messengers or other intermediaries. Data is transmitted over a secure connection.

You can disable the feature at any time by removing everyone in the "Who to notify" section. The invited person can disconnect themselves in "I'm a trusted person". To delete data already stored, write to us at the address at the end of this document.

Feedback

There is no email step. “Report a problem”, “Questions and suggestions” and the report button on the block screen send text to our server, where it is kept for up to six months so the developer can read it and reply. Along with the text we receive the app language, its version and the country (determined by the server from the connection). No name, account or device identifier is included. The reply comes back into the app, which remembers the random numbers of its own messages only.

“Report a problem” sends only the text you typed.

“Report an error” on the block screen sends, in one tap, a fixed set of technical details about that block, and nothing else:

• the address of the page, when the browser exposed it (otherwise “address not read”);
• the package name of the browser or app the block happened in;
• which check produced the block (a domain list, the address analysis, or the page text);
• the words from our own dictionary that matched, so the wrong word can be removed;
• how many times the same block fired today, and the app version.

The page text itself, screenshots, your browsing history, your name and any other personal data are never collected and never sent. The exact list above is printed on the block screen next to the button, so you see it before you tap.

KarosGuard Pro and the Windows version

These versions are not distributed through Google Play and work on a subscription. So that the free trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling, the app sends our server an anonymous device number — an irreversible hash of the system identifier, not the identifier itself. The server stores only this hash and the date it first saw it; it is not linked to a subscription key or to anything else. If you have a subscription key, the app checks its expiry date on the same server from time to time. The Google Play version does none of this.

Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) setting up control for themselves, and for parents configuring control on their family's devices.
